Most people have a wallet full of cards with unclaimed flier points on them. When it all adds up, these unused points could fund an entire holiday.
“Holiday in your Pocket” encourages people to check their pockets for any unclaimed points, and transfer them to Velocity. All these unused credits could earn them enough points to go on a holiday. The emotive use of "Why" reasoning instead of "What" was a first for Velocity, and at the conclusion of the campaign was the most successful points push the brand had run.
The 2 part campaign was carried out across multiple direct and indirect digital channels, with a huge media buyout online and working alongside large number of associate brands and stakeholders.
